Art of Conversation is a monthly social event held on a weekday from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm during the last week of the month at a restaurant/bar in the Greater Edmonton area. The concept was created in 2006 by media personality Rob Christie and former Edmonton Sun columnist Graham Hicks with the goal of bringing people of diverse backgrounds together to engage in the rapidly vanishing art of face to face conversation.
Art of Conversation has collected a database of 2,500 attendees who are notified of each event via the AoC App. The event is open to everyone.

Art of Conversation kicks off 2025 by traversing the North Saskatchewan to Old Strathcona for a cross cultural food and beverage experience. Bibo, one of Edmonton’s most beloved wine bars, has been reincarnated as a Sake & Wine Bar in the recently reno’d Strathcona Hotel. Veteran restaurateur Brad Lazarenko has tapped Ayaka Shiga of Ikki Sake Bar fame to oversee a list of premium hot and cold sakes, fine wines, craft beer, fermented cocktails and an inventive menu of Spanish - Japanese influenced tapas.
