Art of Conversation is a monthly social event held on a weekday from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm during the last week of the month at a restaurant/bar in the Greater Edmonton area. The concept was created in 2006 by media personality Rob Christie and former Edmonton Sun columnist Graham Hicks with the goal of bringing people of diverse backgrounds together to engage in the rapidly vanishing art of face to face conversation.
Art of Conversation has collected a database of 2,500 attendees who are notified of each event via the AoC App. The event is open to everyone.

The Christmas Gathering, is returning to the elegant and storied Fairmont Hotel Macdonald. The Grande Dame of Edmonton hotels recently underwent extensive renovations and our host venue, The Empire Ballroom, is more breathtaking than ever.
Join us for Happy Hour libations, and complimentary appetizers by Executive Chef John Lance. In keeping with the spirit of the season, donations to Edmonton Meals on Wheels, Adopt-a-Teen and (hotel charity) will be gratefully accepted. Wear your holiday finest and bring a friend -you never know who Yule meet! 🎄🎄
