Art of Conversation is a monthly social event held on a weekday from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm during the last week of the month at a restaurant/bar in the Greater Edmonton area. The concept was created in 2006 by media personality Rob Christie and former Edmonton Sun columnist Graham Hicks with the goal of bringing people of diverse backgrounds together to engage in the rapidly vanishing art of face to face conversation.
Art of Conversation has collected a database of 2,500 attendees who are notified of each event via the AoC App. The event is open to everyone.

October’s Art of Conversation gives you a taste of authentic Brazilian BBQ. Pampa Brazilian Steakhouse Ellerslie is the brainchild of Edmontonian Oscar Lopez and Brazilian Joao Dachery and has its roots in the 17th century folklore of the ‘gauchos’ (cowboys) whose diet consisted primarily of beef cooked on open-pit fires on the prairie. Pampa honours the legacy of this carnivore cuisine, known as “churrasco”, with Rodizio-style servings of authentic Alberta beef cuts and an expansive Brazilian-Chef curated salad bar. Join us for Happy Hour pricing featuring South American wines and Brazilian inspired cocktails, complimentary appetizers, and plenty of on-site free parking.
